Alvir Airways In a positive development for Pakistan’s aviation and tourism industries, a newly launched private airline has been issued a license to commence its operations in the country.
According to the details, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has approved the issuance of the Tourism Promotion & Regional Integration (TPRI) license to Alvir Airways (Pvt) Ltd for five years under the National Aviation Policy 2019.
The license has been issued in line with the prime minister’s vision to promote tourism and regional connectivity.
The PCAA Director, Khaqan Murtaza, the Additional DG PCAA (Air Vice-Marshal), Jamal Arshad, the Deputy Director General (Regulatory), Nadir Shafi Dar, and the Air Transport & Economic Regulation Director, Irfan Sabir, presented the license to the executives of Alvir Airways at the PCAA Headquarters in Karachi.
The executives of Alvir Airways present at the occasion included the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Tehseen Awan, the Managing Director, Syeda Huma Batool, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Capt. Shahzaib Mahmood.
