Paying your Taxes/fees and Traffic Challan Payment Made Easier through e-Pay Punjab


Online payment of Traffic Challan through e-Pay Punjab app has begun across the Punjab enabling citizens from 36 districts to pay challans online. This was informed during a progress review meeting in which Chairman PITB Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi stated that e-pay Punjab continues to facilitate the citizens by enabling them to pay taxes online through a number of payment channels.

Developed by PITB in collaboration with Punjab Finance Department, e-Pay Punjab has collected 67 Billion+ revenue till date and offers e-payments for 21 taxes/levies of 10 departments. e-Pay Punjab is the first ever government payment aggregator enabling individuals to pay their taxes by using multiple electronic payment channels.

e-Pay Punjab has made it easier for citizens to pay traffic challan in five major cities in Punjab. It can be paid via internet banking, ATM, over the counter in banks, and other digital payment channels. 

Citizens can also view online details of the paid challan through both the App and Website.




About ePay Punjab:

The first ever government payment aggregator, ePay Punjab is initiated with the vision to increase the pace of financial inclusion among the citizens of Punjab. It is a collective effort between Punjab Finance Department and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB). It allows to manage business to government (B2G) and person to government (P2G) payments. This system is linked to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all banks via 1-Link network. ePay Punjab has enabled individuals to pay their taxes using multiple electronic payment channels from its launch FY 19-20 and increasing the total number of levies to 21 surrounding 10 different departments of Punjab region.
