PM Imran Khan inaugurates Pakistan’s first E-commerce Web Portal, “E-Tijaarat”

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched E-Tijarat, Pakistan’s first e-commerce online portal, to boost trading and assist the government in bringing transparency to the IT sector.

Today, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Pakistan’s first e-commerce web portal, E-Tijarat Portal. He also spoke at the E-Commerce Pakistan Convention, when he announced the adoption of a zero-tax policy for the country’s registered freelancers.

“Since assuming power, I’ve repeated a phrase: Don’t panic [Ghabrana nahi hai].” Everyone is aware of the country’s troubles since our government took control, since we are on the verge of bankruptcy.”

“I told my cabinet not to panic, and now I’m encouraging the opposition not to panic.”

PM Imran Khan stated that many people in the information technology (IT) sector have become millionaires, and that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has paid special attention to the IT sector and young. Because of the advancement of information technology, the world has reached the digitalisation phase.
