Saudi Airlines will be ready to operate international flights fully by 17th May, 2021 confirms the Assistant Director General of Communications of Saudia, Khaled Bin Abdulqader Tash.
Earlier this, The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that international flights could resume fully by 17th May, 2021.
- In response to an inquiry from Okaz, Saudi Airlines responded that the lifting of all restrictions on international travel will specifically be on 5th Shawwal (17th May). Similar : Saudi Arabia announced new date of lifting travel restrictions
- Saudi Airlines in its Tweet said, 'Have you packed your bags?' with the pictures of luggage bags is a clear indication that the date is near for allowing Saudis to travel abroad without any restrictions, after suspending for a whole year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic globally in March 2020.
- The General Authority of Civil Aviation had amended the date for allowing Saudi citizens to travel abroad, with fully lifting the suspension of flights for international airlines and opening Saudi Arabia's airports from 5th Shawwal, 1442.
